Terms of use
The rules for using yardkey.ca and the My Yard portal.
These terms cover your use of yardkey.ca and the My Yard portal ("the site"). Renting a yard or parking spot is governed by your signed storage or licence agreement. If anything here conflicts with that agreement, the agreement wins.
Reservations and prices
- A free reservation holds a spot while we confirm details. It is not a rental agreement and can be cancelled by either side before you sign.
- Prices shown are in Canadian dollars, per month, before applicable taxes, and can change for new rentals. Your agreement states your rate and any price lock.
- Availability shown on the site plan is approximate and confirmed when we contact you.
Your account
- Keep your login and gate code private. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Give accurate information and keep your contact and insurance details current.
Move-in deals
- 50% off your first month: for new customers who sign an agreement of at least 4 months. The discount applies to the first month's fee only.
- 5th month free: for new customers who sign a 5-month agreement. Months 1 to 4 are billed at the regular rate and month 5 is free.
- One offer per rental and per customer. Not combinable with other offers. Ending the agreement early cancels the promo, and the discount is added back to your final invoice.
- Your account must stay in good standing. The regular monthly rate applies after the promo. Offers can end at any time but are honoured for agreements already signed.
Payments
Card payments are processed by Square. We never see or store your full card number. Saved cards and auto-pay can be turned off in My Yard.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the site: no attempts to access other people's information, disrupt the service or upload harmful files.
Content and links
News headlines on the site link to other publishers; we are not responsible for their content. Site text, photos and the YardKey name and logo belong to YardKey.
Liability
The site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, YardKey is not liable for indirect losses from using the site. Nothing here limits rights you have under Ontario consumer protection law.
